My client are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial transition of newly acquired businesses. This role involves coordinating finance workstreams, managing SPA obligations, and collaborating closely with the M&A team to ensure seamless integrations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial integration processes, aligning with acquisition timelines. Collaborate with the M&A team on deal structures, valuations, and board reporting. Manage completion accounts and earnout calculations in line with SPAs. Liaise with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth financial operations.

The ideal candidate: Experience: Finance operations, acquisitions, integrations, and M&A processes. Knowledge: SPAs, completion accounts, earnout calculations, and group reporting. Skills: Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management. Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

Finance Manager - M&A - Key duties

As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial integration of acquired businesses. Working closely with M&A, Financial Control, and Operations teams, you’ll ensure seamless transitions, accurate financial reporting, and compliance with acquisition timelines. Your expertise will help drive smooth integrations, from completion accounts to earnout calculations, aligning financial operations with the company’s strategic goals.

Integration Management: Coordinate finance workstreams, support teams, and manage vendor communication to ensure smooth financial integration.

M&A Collaboration: Liaise with the M&A team to understand acquisition valuations, support SPA requirements, and meet post-acquisition reporting deadlines.

Completion Accounts: Review and finalise completion accounts, ensuring payments align with SPA timelines and cash flow requirements.

Earnout Calculations: Produce accurate NRC statements, handle deferred consideration adjustments, and manage vendor relationships throughout the process.
