The Role:- Team Management: Supervise and support one staff member, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient performance within the finance team.- Billing & Credit Control: Ensure timely and accurate billing processes for clients and suppliers, monitor outstanding invoices, and follow up with clients to ensure prompt payment.- Cash Flow Reporting: Provide regular cash flow projections to the CEO, ensuring that fluidity is maintained, and any potential issues are flagged in advance.- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage all aspects of accounts receivable and payable functions, including processing invoices, making payments, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.- VAT Returns: Ensure accurate and timely completion of VAT returns in compliance with relevant regulations alongside our accountants.- Bank Reconciliations: Complete monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, and any discrepancies are promptly resolved.- Month-End Reporting (Management accounts and reports): Control month-end closing processes, ensuring that all financial data is accurately reported and reconciled, including profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
