Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely processing of financial transactions.
- Oversee credit control processes and manage debts owed to the University.
- Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to enhance debt recovery.
- Implement system improvements and ensure data quality in the Accounts Receivable function.
- Update and enforce financial policies and procedures while providing hands-on support during peak periods.
Ideal Candidate Skills:
Essential:
- Proven experience in managing an Accounts Receivable function.
- Familiarity with finance IT systems and reporting software.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students and stakeholders.
- Confidence in managing debtor relationships effectively.
Desired:
- Experience in a higher education setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting finance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Unit4ERP/Agresso
