Finance Manager (Arabic Speaking) | International Design Collective | Central London

Harmonic is delighted to be working with an innovative and globally recognized design business in their search for a Finance Manager to join their London team. This organisation is celebrated for its ambitious projects and collaborative approach, fostering a creative environment that empowers its people.

With over 1000 offices across multiple continents and a growing presence in London, this business is dedicated to shaping the future of design while staying true to its inclusive and diverse culture. They are seeking a diligent and driven Finance Manager to support the Managing Director and provide financial expertise across their UK operations.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to take on a pivotal role within a creative and dynamic environment. While the transactional finance functions are largely managed by the group finance team overseas, this role focuses on finance business partnering closely with the Managing Director and Operations team to ensure compliance, facilitate strategic decision-making, and manage UK financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in international financial management and be adept at working in a fast-paced, creative business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close procedures, including accruals and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with group finance and the Global CFO to ensure compliance with global policies and alignment on accounting principles.
  • Oversee local and international VAT, tax, and reconciliation processes.
  • Provide strategic insights and statistical analysis to support decision-making.
  • Prepare annual budgets in coordination with the Managing Director and group CFO.
  • Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor legal requirements, ensuring all processes align with UK legislation.
  • Assist in setting up legal entities and registrations outside the UK when needed.
  • Work on ad-hoc financial projects, delivering high-quality analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across global offices to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.

What we need to see (essential):

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial management, including international accounting and controlling.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Experience handling VAT, tax compliance, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and provide detailed, accurate work under pressure.

What we'd like to see (preferred):

  • Experience in architecture, design, or creative industries.
  • Familiarity with collaborating across global teams in an international business setting.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Arabic.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + benefits
