This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing investment fund based in the City of London.  The company is looking to recruit a skilled Finance Manger who will support financial operations and be an integral member of the entrepreneurial team.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Portfolio analysis including assisting in the creation of financial models covering past and projected deployments.
  • Assist in establishing investment parameters for potential investments to ensure they meet the fund's financial objectives.
  • Assess the financial viability and potential returns of prospective investments, including detailed risk and return assessments.
  • Portfolio management including monitoring the capital budget and deployments to ensure efficient allocation of funds and maximise profitability.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the Senior Investment Associate
  • Oversee day to day accounting and cash flow management.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
  • Qualified Accountant (ICAEW or ACCA)
  • Prior experience of working within the financial services industry or in a startup / high growth SME would be beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software, particularly Xero and Pleo.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience of using Power BI preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
