Location: Westminster, LondonSalary: £65,000 - £75,000Summary:At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Finance Manager to join an established global business with a network of operations across the world. As a qualified accountant, you will ensure the accurate and compliant recording of financial transactions, alongside contributing to the overall finance operation. You will have experience managing international transactions, with an in-dept understanding of international and domestic laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, confident leading a small team to get the best out of them. Key Responsibilities:

  • As a qualified accountant, ensure the accurate and compliant recording of financial transactions alongside contributing to the overall finance operations.
  • Manage financial controllership tasks and process standardisations.
  • Supervise monthly and quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies.
  • Lead the preparation of financial reports including variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal financial policies.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Lead statutory accounts preparation, VAT and Corporation Tax reporting.
  • Play an active role in FP&A activities providing variance explanations.

Experience:

  • Strong commercial experience of working within a company with international business activities. Ideally within Trading, Exports, Imports or Manufacturing.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience with SAP B1 and excellent Excel and modelling skills preferred but not essential.
  • Experience managing a small team, with a proven track-record of being able to get the best out of the employees within the team.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience within a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and in-depth understanding of international and domestic laws and regulations.
