Permanent Role, 4 days per week (could be 5 days if additional duties undertaken)

Job Purpose: Our client, a Trade Association operating within Construction/Engineering sector are looking for a sole charge Finance Manager.

Duties: The successful candidate will be an experienced sole charge Finance Manager, responsible for every aspect of finance within this small organisation:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger (some credit control)
  • Using QuickBooks and Dext software
  • Bank and credit card allocations and reconciliations.
  • Payroll processing and journals, recharges and reconciliations.
  • VAT returns and reconciliation with the nominal ledger.
  • Dealing with HMRC on payroll and taxation.
  • Accruals and prepayments schedules.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Prepare the audit files for year end and liaise with auditors.
  • Post adjustments from auditors.
  • Monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
