Trade Association are looking for a sole charge Finance Manager (4 days per week or 28 hours across 5 days)
Working model: remote working with occasional travel to London (twice a month)
Salary £30K-£35K (full time equivalent)
Permanent Role, 4 days per week (could be 5 days if additional duties undertaken)
Job Purpose: Our client, a Trade Association operating within Construction/Engineering sector are looking for a sole charge Finance Manager.
Duties: The successful candidate will be an experienced sole charge Finance Manager, responsible for every aspect of finance within this small organisation:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger (some credit control)
- Using QuickBooks and Dext software
- Bank and credit card allocations and reconciliations.
- Payroll processing and journals, recharges and reconciliations.
- VAT returns and reconciliation with the nominal ledger.
- Dealing with HMRC on payroll and taxation.
- Accruals and prepayments schedules.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Prepare the audit files for year end and liaise with auditors.
- Post adjustments from auditors.
- Monthly profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
