Reed are acting on behalf of a prestigious Wholesaler who are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Finance Manager to join their dynamic management team. This role is crucial for ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and delivering insightful financial and commercial analysis to support the company’s strategic plans and decisions.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and senior management team to develop financial strategies that support the company’s growth and strategic development.
  • Act as a business partner and integral member of the Senior Management team, supporting operational teams in driving strategic ambitions.
  • Manage and improve financial and operational control procedures to ensure compliance with group and external requirements, including bank reconciliations, control account reconciliations, and adherence to IAS.
  • Provide accurate financial information to local operations, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow information, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting ledgers and manage the end-to-end audit process.
  • Oversee local statutory obligations on reporting & filing to ensure all financial information is true, fair, and free from material misstatement.
  • Manage local corporate, employee, employer, and sales tax obligations.
  • Lead the financial forecasting processes – budgets, forecasts, business plans – and provide recommendations on business decisions and strategy through financial assessments.
  • Review, change, and develop reporting, analysis, and control processes to facilitate business improvement.
  • Manage local financial stakeholder relationships, including audit, banking, and company secretariat.
  • Control and deliver effective FX cover for foreign currency transactions and manage the pricing function.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication between departments, ensuring all information is well transmitted and understood.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in a dynamic and growing business environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational control procedures, financial compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide financial insights that contribute to business strategy.
  • Ability to manage and develop a team, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience managing relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Proficient in financial software and systems relevant to the role.

This role will be 4 days working from the office and 1 from home.
