Global Accounting Network are currently partnered with a private-equity backed business in the fashion industry to recruit for an experienced Finance Manager to help build out a new European finance function, head-quartered in central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant to grow their career in an exciting business with ambitious growth plans in a hands-on role.
This Finance Manager job will involve taking responsibility for month end close across multiple European entities, reconciling intercompany balances, preparing currency revaluations, preparing internal finance reports, overseeing preparation of management and statutory accounts, ensuring all statutory compliance requirements are met, liaising externally with auditors and advisors where necessary, providing detailed analysis and presenting to senior stakeholders and providing support to other areas of the finance function. As the role progresses and the UK-based team is built out, there will be responsibility for managing and developing junior finance team members.
This Finance Manager job would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant who has come from a smaller business environment, who has experience developing systems and processes and who wants to get involved with a successful and well-backed business in an exciting period of growth. Candidates should ideally have experience in the fashion/retail/wholesale sectors or similar and have held a role involving significant financial management.
