My client is looking for a skilled Finance Manager; capable of carrying out all necessary functions of the role with the proactive mindset to go above and beyond and be unafraid of wearing multiple hats at once. As they separate from their parent company and set up a finance team in London this is an exciting time to join and make the role your own.

Client Details

My client (a subsidiary of a multinational fashion/retail brand based in South-East Asia) has been in operation since the late 1960s, but is now looking to move away from its parent company and establish a stronger footing in London and Europe. Currently operating at $30mil annual turnover, they are looking to reach $50mil in the next 2-3 years.

To achieve this they are building out their finance team based in Holborn, and are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to lead from the front and handle the daily operations, who isn't afraid to get stuck into other areas when required. Someone with a versatile skillset and proactive mindset will excel in this position.

Description

  • Month-end close across multiple European entities.
  • Analysing and reporting on financial performance, often presenting to senior management.
  • Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
  • Coordinating with external auditors to ensure financial compliance.
  • Developing and implementing accounting and finance best practice

Profile

The successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A qualification in accounting (ACA or ACCA preferred).
  • Prior experience working in the fashion/retails sector.
  • Excellent leadership and senior stakeholder communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Exposure to IFRS and European financial processes.
  • A dynamic approach to their work and desire to help a growing company at this pivotal moment.
