Finance Manager

Finance Manager – The Role

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly management accounts, cash flow analysis, and board reports. Provide detailed commentary and insights to support decision-making
• Inventory & COGS Management: Oversee and manage the company’s inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS), ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
• Cash Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow, providing proactive insights on working capital and liquidity to ensure the business remains in a healthy financial position
• Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable: Proactive management of debtors and creditors and development of processes around AR and AP
• Work efficiently with Xero and Cin7 to maintain accurate records of financial transactions and inventory across multiple locations
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with international teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on financial matters across time zones
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide financial guidance and support to the broader business, working closely with departments such as operations, merchandising, and sales
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards (GST, PAYE, etc)
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting processes, ensuring realistic and achievable financial goals are set.

Finance Manager – Required Experience

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent professional body
• Experience working for a consumer products company
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems such as Cin7
• Proven experience in cash management and inventory/COGS management
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with experience in preparing dashboards and extracting key analytic metrics
• Strong communication skills and soft skills to work between various stakeholders (customers, suppliers, team members, investors) and the ability to work collaboratively with teams across different time zones

Finance Manager – The Package

• Salary circa £60-70,000
• Hybrid working – 3 office days per week
