- PQ/FQ Accountant with all round accounts experience gained in an SME
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance
- Background in fashion, retail, or related sectors
- Oversee all bookkeeping functions, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare detailed management accounts with variance analysis to support business insights.
- Manage VAT returns and liaise with external auditors for year-end accounts.
- Create and maintain cash flow forecasts, ensuring financial resources are optimally utilised.
- Develop budgets and forecasts, delivering regular financial reports and KPIs.
- Drive process improvements and support the business in achieving financial goals.
- Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Hands-on experience in a finance role, ideally within a SME fashion, retail, or a similar industry.
- Expertise in bookkeeping, management accounts, and cash flow management.
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and tax compliance.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
- Self-starter who thrives under pressure and excels in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is a bonus.
