Partnered with a small London based design and build company who work on boutique design projects up to £3M, I am hiring for their first Finance Manager as they looking to bring their finance function in-house. This is a full time permanent position with 2 days per week working from home.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the company bookkeeping and accounting. The ideal candidate will be a confident and self-motivated individual and experience in the construction sector would be beneficial.

Responsibilities include:

  • Purchase ledger including banking
  • Sales ledger
  • Cash flow management
  • Bank reconciliation
  • All tax including CIS
  • Credit card and expenses management
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Budget preparation and monitoring
  • Project finances and forecasting
  • Statutory filing
  • Liaison with and support from external accountants

Experience working in the construction industry or a project business in a similar role would be preferred. Experience using Xero would be an advantage but not essential. Must be a hungry, driven, confident and self motivated individual to be a contender.

On offer is a salary between £50,000-£55,000 per annum, which is potentially negotiable. Benefits include healthcare insurance, Up to 30 days holiday plus bank holiday, free food and drink provided daily, hybrid working and much more.
