Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with other departments to compile financial reports and forecasts, and provide analytical support for budgeting and performance against financial plans.
- Identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Present financial reports to senior managers, stakeholders, and board members.
Key Skills
- Exceptional knowledge and competence with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and statutory reporting.
- Advanced skills in financial planning & analysis, demonstrating a proven track record of transforming financial data into actionable strategies.
- Strong organizational abilities coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a depth of understanding of its financial drivers and dynamics.
