My client is currently recruiting for a full-time Finance Manager to join the team on a six month fixed term contract. The right candidate is excited to join a growing company building an exciting brand in the FMCG space. You will have relationships with every single team and department (Production, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Planning and Finance), as well as external relationships with customers, suppliers and investors.

The Role:
- Daily reconciliation of our Xero accounting and in-house production software
- Monthly management of balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed asset reconciliations for review by FD
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Working with the FD on the budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of weekly COGS details for analysis of production costs
- Preparation of weekly payment runs for suppliers
- Management of debtors in conjunction with Sales team and FD
- Collaboration with the production department on CAPEX projects
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports
- Oversee and manage accounts inbox, including liaising with customers and suppliers as necessary
- Preparation of HMRC submissions - including beer duty submission and VAT
- Other ad hoc finance tasks as needed
Desired skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and Xero accounting software
- Self-motivated and can work autonomously with excellent organisation and time management
- Part qualified or full professional membership desired, but not essential
This is a contract with potential to move into a permanent role and for you to play a key role in the growth of the business
