The role is extremely challenging and varied, reporting to the Finance Controller, and taking charge of the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.

  • Partnering with operational and support departments.
  • Ensuring a strong control environment within the Group
  • Leading, coaching and training an existing, talented finance team (C.5 people)
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance & Business Support and the Executive team to drive the success of the business.
  • Overseeing the Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll, and Income Audit functions together with PAYE agreements
  • Overseeing the cash flow process.
  • Reviewing and completing monthly P&L reports, Balance Sheet reviews, and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Reviewing and approving banking transactions within approved authorization limits.
  • Assisting in internal and external audit preparation in conjunction with the Financial Controller

Experience:

  • You will be an experienced accountant, qualified or qualified by experience
  • Hospitality experience is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills
