Responsibilities

Principal responsibilities will involve:

  • Leading the monthly management accounts process for final review
  • Oversee revenue recognition and cost allocation to ensure accuracy
  • Implement & manage control procedures for spend management
  • Lead monthly payroll process -oversee third party provider, board sign off, banking & monthly journals
  • Lead financial operations - banking, payment runs, bank reconciliations
  • Manage intangible assets ensuring accurate and effective capitalisation & amortisation, qualifying spend and ROI
  • Lead audit delivery
  • Managing financial and corporate accounting - consolidation adjustments, capital & reserve matters and loans.
  • Manage tax process, returns and accounting with external advisors for review
  • Responding to client RFI/Ps due diligence
  • Deliver monthly reporting to parent company
  • Effective management of the revenue accountant & accounts assistant. Pushing their development, craft and professionalism.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Other duties the company may ask of from time-to-time

Competencies and Behaviours

  • Demonstrable relevant experience
  • Have applied technical and analytical skills using Excel
  • Ideally be educated to degree level in a numerate subject, and with strong A-levels in mathematical/ scientific based subjects
  • Fully qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
