The Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial management within the organisation, incorporating the accurate and timely capture, processing and reporting of all financial transactions and internal reporting, leading to and informing decision making at leadership and board level. Please note that the role is 5 days onsite in southeast London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Statements. This will also incorporate variance analysis at company and departmental level to provide meaningful financial information for the Board of Directors and budget-holders respectively
- Financial planning and cashflow management
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for submission to HMRC on a timely basis
- Input into various reports
- Complete oversight of expenditure cycle, including review of controls and payments
- Preparation of P&L forecasts and review against actual as well as presentation to Operational team
- Preparation of year-end audit file both in respect of UK statutory audit and group audit
- Assistance with annual budgeting
- Ownership and overview of Accounting System
- Oversight of financial reporting and historic transactions
- Internal audit and financial reporting
