Finance Manager - About the role
Working alongside the Directors of the business, duties will include:
- Overall responsibility for the day to day running of the finance department
- Managing the finance function of a number of different entities
- Managing bank payments, reconciliations and foreign currency accounts
- Production of all quarterly statutory accounts and tax computations
- Production of budgets and forecasts
- Cost analysis
- Working with HMRC and producing VAT returns
- Ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Board
Finance Manager - Candidate requirements:
- Degree educated, and ideally a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Strong "Qualified By Experience" candidates will also be considered
- 4-8 years of proven finance experience
- Previous experience in a sports related business / hospitality or events is advantageous
- A dynamic and ambitious, get things done outlook
- Strong system skills and knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, QuickBooks etc
- An excellent team player with a confident, outgoing personality
- A genuine, passionate interest in sport is essential (rugby, football cricket especially)
