This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) to join a growing business.In this role, you will oversee daily financial and commercial operations across Europe, taking on a comprehensive financial position. You will review and challenge financial and management accounts, while supporting operational teams in making informed commercial decisions.Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
  • Partner with European teams to drive business growth
  • Control costs in European entities
  • Lead European budget preparation
  • Improve financial operations through automation
  • Review management accounts, report variances, and take corrective action
  • Manage daily/monthly cashflow and forecasting
  • Oversee AP/AR processes
  • Manage European audits and liaise with auditors
  • Enhance local financial processes to boost productivity
  • Handle financial matters with banks and suppliers
  • Ensure business compliance in collaboration with internal teams
  • Work with Global Support Centre to improve AP/AR and GL processes
  • Lead and mentor finance team members
  • Resolve customer finance queries and conflicts
  • Credit check and assess new deals for viability
  • Attend customer review meetings for financial discussions
The successful Finance Manager will require the following knowledge and experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Advanced Excel skills required (VBA is a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite is essential
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing a small finance department or working as a Finance Manager in a medium to large organization
  • Experience in an international business working with global teams
