Finance Project Lead

3 - 6 months

£700 daily (Outside IR35)

Partner Interim are working with Private Equity backed multi-site business embarking on an aggressive period of growth, adopting a buy and build strategy. They have acquired 6 new sites this year and expect to double their turnover by the end of next year.

As Finance Project Lead, you will work directly with the CFO to lead critical finance projects stemming from recent acquisitions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, helping to professionalise and standardise finance processes in an organisation that is scaling quickly.

Key deliverables

  • Delivering the implementation and standardisation of processes and controls across newly acquired sites, with a primary focus on professionalising and optimising finance operations
  • Implementing consistent processes for weekly and monthly reporting requirements to meet Private Equity expectations
  • Supporting the reimplementation of the general ledger and the introduction of a new accounts payable software
  • Working closely with operational teams and the leadership team to ensure alignment with business objectives

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Proven experience in a multi-site business environment with a focus on finance process improvement
  • Previously worked in a 'buy-and-build’ environment with proven experience of business integration
  • Detailed oriented and committed to high standards in financial reporting and operational processes
