KennedyPearce are hiring a Finance System Manager for a colsultancy business based in London. This role is newly created and will be a bridge between finance and IT. This company offer hybrid working and 1-2 days in the office will be required. The ideal will have work experience with MS 365 (F&O preferable) and work experience with a Consolidation & Reporting systems.

The Group Finance Systems Manager:

  • Act as Functional Lead for our Group ERP system, Microsoft F&O
  • Group Finance oversight of the ERP in the Countries and implementation of Microsoft F&O across the Group;
  • Managing up to 4 people (based in Indian SSC - Functional & Technical staff)
  • Close collaboration with country finance and IT teams to manage finance systems infrastructure in response to the Group and Countries strategic needs
  • Assist with technical aspect of our Reporting & Consolidation system (Prophix) including maintenance of the Interface between Mircosoft F&O and Prophix
  • Provide assurance that Group Finance systems are fit for purpose and ensuring best practice and controls across the Group
  • Responsible to create and maintain process documentation and training materials for Finance Systems

Group ERP Systems (predominantly Microsoft F&O)

  • Working with local teams to migrate them onto a common ERP
  • Work with local teams on implementation of the new systems to meet Group and Countries strategic needs;
  • Perform impact assessments for any proposed changes, and make recommendations
  • Oversight of Group Finance Systems infrastructure;
  • Key stakeholder in shaping the governance over Group's finance systems implementation and maintenance;
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the F&O space and making recommendation to Group Finance
  • Key stakeholder in drawing up and evolving the Group Roadmap for Finance Systems
  • Responsible for maintenance of interfaces from F&O (eg to Prophix)
  • Understand and Maintain documentation on system architecture and on all system processes

Group Consolidation & Reporting Systems

  • Understand and Maintain documentation on system architecture and on all system processes
  • Responsible to keep up to date with new developments and make recommendations to Group Finance
  • Work with vendor to manage system updates, patching etc
  • Work with Group Finance on any improvements or implementations within the system
  • Build reports to specification as required, including for both Reporting and Forecasting
  • First Line support for users

Qualifications:

  • Work experience with MS 365 (F&O preferable) and experience with Consolidation & Reporting systems
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in managing people (offshore resources)
