£85,000 - £105,000 + Bonus + Benefits + 3 days in the office

Stanton House are proud to be supporting one the world's leading FinTech companies in the city, which is transforming the way businesses handle digital payments with a cutting-edge payment processing platform, to source a Finance Systems & Controls Manager. I am looking for an exceptional individual to manage and enhance the IT General Controls (ITGCs) across the Finance and Treasury systems. This role will sit in the Finance Transformation Team, reporting to the Finance Transformation Director. The purpose of this role is to ensure the ITGCs are designed and operating effectively.

You will have the opportunity to join a brand new team and play an instrumental part in driving success within the Finance function, as this conglomerate continues on its exciting growth journey.

You will be responsible for

  • Creating, documenting, managing and enhancing the ITGCs across the key third party finance systems, including Workday Financials, Workday Accounting Center, Prism, Coupa, Dell Boomi and Longview.
  • Partnering with the Finance Systems Support team to help guide and deliver on control design improvements, including automating controls.
  • Work alongside the Finance Transformation team during new system implementations to ensure ITGCs are designed effectively.
  • Creating and maintaining Risk and Control Matrices.
  • Liaising with the auditors to ensure effective and timely delivery of the audit evidence/support during year-end audits.

What we're looking for

  • Professional finance qualification, Big 4 trained would be desirable
  • Fintech or Tech experience would be a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Finance systems. You must have led or been part of a Finance ERP implementation.
  • Experience with controllership, purchase-to-pay, middleware and tax systems is a must.
  • Strong understanding of ITGCs, including how to set these up in the systems listed previously and provide evidence of their effectiveness.
  • Strong experience in educating stakeholders regarding ITGCs.
  • Good understanding of systems and integration approaches.
  • Excellent at communicating with senior stakeholders and team members to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Able to identify problems, define the root cause, determine the solution and propose the solution.
  • Able to map processes, outlining risks and controls.
  • Experienced in data analysis, data manipulation and reporting.
