The business is looking for Qualified accountant with experience in a systems focussed role to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of their accounting and financial systems. If you're passionate about optimizing financial processes and have experience with Workday, this could be the perfect role for you.
This role will pay £70k - £80k plus great benefits and 40% bonus. This business work 5 days a week in the office in central London with great facilities, on-site gym etc.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing all financial systems. Your duties will include:
- Managing financial systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborating with IT and finance teams to implement and optimise Workday Financials.
- Monitoring system performance and recommending upgrades for continuous improvement.
- Providing training and support to staff on financial systems and reporting tools.
- Conducting audits to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Identifying and driving process improvements within financial operations.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to financial systems.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including 1+ years in a systems-focused role.
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials software.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- A self-starter mindset, with the ability to anticipate and meet information needs proactively.
