Finance Transformation Manager responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of the Financial Infrastructure strategy for your assigned workstreams.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of current accounting processes and identify key areas for improvement to implement future-state solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to clearly communicate Finance requirements, identifying gaps and inefficiencies through detailed discussions.
- Define and document future requirements, ensuring they align with accounting policies and best practice controls.
- Actively participate in the development process, providing feedback and iterating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Lead testing and adoption of new implementations, ensuring any impacts on business-as-usual operations are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day project management, ensuring your workstream is supported by a detailed project plan and tracked via PMO.
- Keep key stakeholders informed with regular updates, maintaining strong communication to ensure alignment and transparency on project decisions.
- Conduct risk-based assessments when faced with conflicting priorities and apply clear exception criteria to manage impact.
Finance Transformation Manager Qualifications:
- ACA or equivalent professional finance qualification is mandatory
- Experience within Financial Services or Financial Technology is mandatory
- At least 4+ years of post-qualification experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on finance systems transformation.
- A proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional technology transformation projects.
- Demonstrated experience working on agile transformation projects within global financial services or fintech organisations.
