You would be joining an international Bank offering a variety of lending products, but also operating within corporate banking and capital markets.   • Planning, preparing and delivering the Group's external financial reports and ensuring these are compliant with relevant reporting frameworks and align with industry best practice.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders across departments and providing advice and support to departments across the business on technical accounting matters.
  • Participating in project work groups to provide technical accounting insights and assess impacts on financial reporting.
  • Seeking to identify and drive implementation of improvements, new systems and processes to financial reporting related matters
  • Improving the Finance department's ongoing training programme, helping to develop and refresh knowledge and ensure the department maintains up-to-date accounting knowledge.

Experience required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 2+ years post qualification experience
  • Experience working in Financial Services, ideally banking
  • Big 4 or Top 20 professional services firm background preferred
  • Ability to start asap or 1m notice minimum
