This is a fully remote role with a hands-on, multifaceted responsibility, where you’ll work closely with the founders and be an integral part of the leadership team to help shape the future of the business.Your responsibilities as the Financial Director will include:
  • Drive Growth: Lead strategic initiatives to improve processes, optimise pricing, and support the revenue team.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with leadership to develop and analyse business plans.
  • Board & Investor Relations: Prepare board packs and management accounts; ensure effective shareholder communication.
  • Capital Transactions: Partner with founders on upcoming institutional transactions.
  • Monitor Performance: Oversee performance metrics and KPIs to ensure business success.
  • Finance Oversight: Manage the finance team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
To be considered for the position of Financial Director:
  • ACA/ACCA qualification with a solid foundation in practice.
  • 5+ years post-qualified experience in a startup environment.
  • Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with founders and board members.
