I am recruiting for a Finance Operations Manager role to lead the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams at a leading property company, known for it's positive culture and dedication to prioritising career development.

Salary: £70,000 to £75,000Hybrid: 3 days in 2 from home Location: City of London

What can you expect?

  • End-to-end AR/AP Management.
  • Lead and develop a team of 12, fostering a collaborative culture focused on excellence, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Reporting on targets, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Identify challenges within AR/AP by conducting root cause analysis, identifying process areas for process optimisation.

Accounts Receivable

  • Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
  • Develop strategies to improve collection rates and reduce receivables.
  • Monitor ageing reports and resolve outstanding issues with internal teams.

Accounts Payable

  • Oversee accurate invoice processing and payments.
  • Resolve discrepancies, maintain vendor relations, ensure compliance, and manage cash operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for expenditure approvals.

What will you bring?

  • 5 to 7 years in a Financial Operations/ Transactional Manager role.
  • Supervisory experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; Yardi experience (desired).
  • Background in Property/Real Estate.
  • Skilled in system implementations and upgrades.
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong, effective communicator with confidence in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
