I’m currently recruiting recruiting for a FP&A Director role in London, the role is paying £950-£1000 per day (Inside IR35) on an initial 12 month contract, the role offers hybrid working with 1-2 day at home per week.

This role is part of the Global FP&A team, supporting key initiatives and projects.  The role is key in driving planning and execution through deadline management, clear communication, and robust financial insight. In addition to specific projects, this role will be a key team member of the Global FP&A team, supporting and assisting with team deliverables, you will also work closely with the CFO.

Key accountabilities:

  • The role is a key member of the FP&A Team, and as such there may be a need to support with the broader FP&A processes, including (not limited to, Budgets, forecasts and Month end Board Reporting).
  • Working with some of the top talent within the organization, developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships – ensuring effective two-way communication is maintained and engagement is consistent throughout the project.
  • The role leverages the insights and knowledge across the organisation, but does not have direct reports.  The role will require a ‘hands on’ approach to problem solving and communication of results.
  • Ensure clear communication with project leadership on project status, projects risks and project opportunities.  Clear communication incudes verbal, written (email) and presented (reports/PowerPoint)
  • Review inputs from project stakeholders, not only ensuring information is correct and ‘hangs together’ with other project datapoints, but also is clearly communicated in terms of format and layout
  • Develop clear and concise insight, leveraging inputs from key stakeholder – ensuring key findings or ‘purpose’ of the work is obviously communicated
  • Creating, reviewing, and managing project milestones – flagging risks and developing contingencies to ensure project deadlines are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fully qualified - ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA or equivalent
  • Strong background in finance and FP&A
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgets (annual, and quarterly), forecasting, balance sheets, cashflows, and income statements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
