FP&A Manager - International Professional Services Scale Up - 15 Month FTC

We are delighted to be working with a fast growth professional services scale up based in London. The company are looking to appoint a new FP&A Manager on a long term FTC maternity cover.

The business have been an internationally recognised leader in their respective sector for the last two decades, their estimated revenues exceed £400m and they will offer broad exposure in a stable growing environment. You'll be joining a team of six and will be responsible for acting as commercial lead for the central EMEA division, which comprises of roughly 20 different entities.

Culturally, candidates who are proactive, ambitious and are easy to get on with thrive in this environment. You will be working closely with a Financial Controller, CFO and will have a junior team so that you can focus on the analytical aspects of the role rather than transactional duties.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you'll act as business partner with international finance departments and leadership teams driving commerciality, proactively investigating errors and working to ensure there is a culture of accuracy and accountability and open collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

EMEA Responsibilities:

  • Create, analyse, and deliver consolidated monthly financial reports, along with quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets, ensuring that all necessary supplementary materials are provided to the Group.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the finance pack on a monthly basis
  • Design and assemble the financial segments of presentations for meetings and committees, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key contacts across various departments and regions within the Group, enhancing collaborative efforts.
  • Engage in and foster a vibrant team environment, actively supporting the central European team and the broader European business network.
  • Manage and oversee key central tasks, such as conducting the annual impairment review, accounting for deferred share grants, and ensuring lease compliance under IFRS 16.
  • Act as the liaison for various Finance teams throughout Europe, ensure the timely and accurate provision of financial information
  • Perform quarterly reviews of the balance sheets for select European entities, responding to any related requests from the Plc or other business sectors.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of financial reporting processes, focusing on aligning local and global procedures to meet the group's standards and reporting needs.
