Job Description:
As the FP&A Manager, you will be at the forefront of financial strategy and decision-making for the fastest-growing business unit. This role is a unique opportunity for a qualified finance professional to lead all aspects of FP&A and business partnering in the exciting intersection of sports and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the development and execution of annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and trends to support strategic decision-making.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate closely with business unit leaders, providing financial insights to drive performance.
- Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
Unit Performance Metrics:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the fastest-growing unit.
- Provide regular reporting on unit performance to senior leadership.
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
- Present financial results to executive leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies.
- Provide financial analysis for new initiatives and potential business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in FP&A, preferably within the tech, sports tech, or digital marketing sectors.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience managing a team is advantageous.
