They are seeking a hands-on FP&A Manager to spearhead their fastest-growing unit. Job Description:

As the FP&A Manager, you will be at the forefront of financial strategy and decision-making for the fastest-growing business unit. This role is a unique opportunity for a qualified finance professional to lead all aspects of FP&A and business partnering in the exciting intersection of sports and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

    • Lead the development and execution of annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance and trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Business Partnering:

    • Collaborate closely with business unit leaders, providing financial insights to drive performance.
    • Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
  • Unit Performance Metrics:

    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the fastest-growing unit.
    • Provide regular reporting on unit performance to senior leadership.
  • Financial Reporting:

    • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports.
    • Present financial results to executive leadership, highlighting areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Strategic Planning:

    • Contribute to the development of long-term business strategies.
    • Provide financial analysis for new initiatives and potential business opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
    • Proven experience in FP&A, preferably within the tech, sports tech, or digital marketing sectors.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Previous experience managing a team is advantageous.
