- Financial Planning & Analysis:Â Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning. Analyse financial performance against budget and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
- Reporting:Â Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and strategic opportunities.
- Modeling:Â Develop and maintain financial models to assess new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and capital expenditures.
- Collaboration:Â Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and supply chain, to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Performance Metrics:Â Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership:Â Mentor and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement:Â Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Fully qualified CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI tools).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
