Fractional CFO | VC Backed Food & Beverage Business | LondonHarmonic is delighted to be working exclusively with a rapidly scaling and Venture Capital backed Food & Beverage business in their search for a Fractional CFO for circa 2-6 days per month.The ClientOur client has become a renowned brand within the Food & Beverage landscape, disrupting the sector and receiving significant funding from renowned Venture Capital. Following a sustained period of scale, our client now requires an expert Fractional CFO who can help guide the finance function and add value from a commercial, financial and operational perspective. The culture is non-corporate and dynamic, with a modern London-based office. Initially the assignment will be circa 2-3 days per week and then will move to around 1 day per week. The RoleAs Fractional CFO, reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the finance function, having a pivotal role in setting the Financial and Commercial strategy. In terms of the role, you'll be overseeing the FP&A capabilities by owning the budgets & forecasts as well as financial modelling You will be leading across multiple areas, with a focus on growth and driving real process change and efficiencies.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-led organisation in the next stage of their fantastic growth journey. Responsibilities

  • Setting the financial and commercial strategy and identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Acting as a true business partner to the CEO.
  • Owning key analysis with financial modelling and scenario planning.
  • Manage the FP&A capabilities, including setting the annual budget, long-term planning.
  • Support with investor relations.
  • Driving innovative efficiencies and process improvement.
  • Ensuring robust controls are in place.
  • Ad-hoc projects.

Essential Experience

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Start-up/Scale-up experience
  • PE/VC experience
  • Omnichannel Retail experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Bonus Experience

  • Experience implementing new finance system (ideally NetSuite)
