We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled FS Tax Manager to join the Financial Services Tax team of a top 20 accounting firm in London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the Financial Services sector, working with a dynamic and collaborative team that is at the forefront of addressing complex tax challenges for clients across FinTech, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Fund Management.

The Financial Services Tax team has experienced significant growth, winning new clients and expanding its capabilities to navigate the evolving tax, regulatory, and accounting landscape. With ambitious targets for the future, the team is focused on delivering innovative solutions to help clients manage geopolitical changes, tax reforms, and regulatory complexities.

About the Role:

This newly created Corporate Tax Manager role is a key position within the team, focusing on leading and driving the delivery of UK corporate tax compliance for financial services clients. The role offers the opportunity to:

  • Manage and oversee the preparation and review of UK corporate tax computations and returns.

  • Support the tax technical development of the wider team, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

  • Conduct research and assist with cross-border tax compliance and tax audit engagements.

  • Deliver high-quality, profitable outcomes for clients by leveraging best practices, technology, and firm policies.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, delegating and reviewing their work while supporting their professional growth.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the London office, working on-site an average of 3 days per week to drive engagement and team development.

What We're Looking For:
  • Professional Qualifications: ACA, CA, CTA, or equivalent (including legal or international tax qualifications).

  • Experience: Proven experience in delivering UK corporate tax computations for clients in the Financial Services sector.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong awareness of broader tax issues, including international tax, regulatory, and accounting areas.

  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and oversee engagement economics effectively.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
