Radley Green is working with a Global business, headquartered in London, to recruit a General Ledger Manager - to focus on intercompany and Payroll accounting.

The role reports into the Group Finance Director, manage a team of two and will own the Payroll accounting and Intercompany aspects of the GL.

The role will own all payroll reconciliations and transfer pricing adjustments for the UK and international businesses and oversee the allocation of payroll charges across the group.

This role will pay £70k - £75k plus bonus, great benefits and hybrid working.

Candidates must be Qualified accountants and have experience with Payroll accounting and intercompany accounting.

The responsibilities include:

  • Manage project to develop processes around Payroll accounting for this global business
  • Having oversight of the monthly gross payroll reconciliations for the UK payrolls.
  • Signing off and monitoring all payroll related control account balances.
  • Reviewing all payroll related accounting entries in the General Ledger.
  • Reviewing reconciliations for loan adjustments and payment deductions.
  • Working closely with the payroll team to ensure all information is obtained on a timely basis to help determine correct accounting.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
  • Driving the payroll process improvement initiatives to ensure best practice.
  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports and other MI for the business.
  • Executing of the group TP policy, including calculation, postings and preparation of intercompany invoices.
  • Working closely with International Tax Manager and Payroll team.

Candidates must be/have:

  • Qualified Accountant with clear and demonstrable experience in Payroll accounting for a large organisation
  • Strong systems and management experience
  • Strong communication skills as this role will be working across the Group Finance function
