Global Tax Manager - 15 Month FTC - Remote

£50,000 - £55,000Fully remote working, with quarterly visits to team events

Investigo are partnered with a leading global business, with a multi-million pound turnover, looking for a Tax Manager to join their international finance team.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring global tax compliance, including US tax reporting for the parent company.
  • Monitoring overseas sales tax thresholds and filing necessary returns.
  • Keeping track of deadlines for tax returns and payments globally.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with internal risk management policies while identifying process improvements.
  • Collaborating with the People team on global employee benefits, including preparing PSAs.
  • Reviewing UK and international tax returns prepared both in-house and externally.
  • Preparing UK QIP calculations.
  • Reviewing accounts prepared by overseas team members and external sources.
  • Leading projects withexternaladvisors, including:
    • International taxation of electronic products.
    • R&D claims, developing systems to identify future claims and managing relationships with external tax advisors.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • ACA or CTA qualification.
  • Post-qualification tax experience with international experience
  • A background in international tax or VAT.
Skills Needed:
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and an understanding of UK VAT regulations.
  • Familiarity with the international tax landscape, especially US regulations.
  • Ability to track legislative changes and requirements.
  • Curious and proactive in researching new technical areas, with the capability to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Confidence in managing external advisors.
