We are proud to be partnering with a prominent Multi - Academy Trust based in London, who are recruiting for a Graduate Finance Administrator on a full-time permanent basis.

The position is due to start as soon as possible, subject to notice and satisfactory checks. The annual salary is between £26,000-£29,000 negotiable based upon experience.

Full training and study support will be provided, so this role is suitable for recent Graduate who would have obtained a minimum grade of 2:2 in a Finance related Degree such as Maths, Finance/Accountancy or Economics and is looking to start their professional career.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Accurately record and update financial transactions, ensuring that all financial records are current and comply with relevant regulations
  • Manage incoming and outgoing payments, processing invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers and from debtors
  • Set up and verify suppliers, checking forms, bank details, VAT and payment terms
  • Resolve invoicing queries with suppliers and accounts payable to meet monthly deadlines
  • Help managers and suppliers create payment schedules and plan invoicing per contract terms
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets, assisting in forecasting financial needs and analysing variances between actual expenditures and budgeted amounts
  • Support managers by tracking financial commitments, monitoring spending, and preparing budget reconciliation reports
  • Maintain detailed records of categorised budgets and expenditures for projects
  • Ensure all processes comply with financial policies and legislation

Experience required:

  • Minimum grade of 2:2 from a Finance related degree such as Maths, Finance/Accountancy or Economics
  • Extenuating circumstances may be considred for lower grades if the appropriate expertise and knowledge can be demonstrated as required for this role

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good organisational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Fully on-site
