Graduate Finance Assistant | Restaurant Chain | London (hybrid)
Agora are delighted to be working with a household name within the quick service restaurant industry in their search for an ambitious Finance Assistant to join their team.
With almost 100 individual restaurants, including franchises, our client are setting their sights on further growth, with the aim expanding further based on growth projections.
This role would suit a fresh graduate or someone with one year experience in transactional finance looking to make the move to an ambitious company where professional development is prioritised. Reporting into a highly experienced AR Supervisor with the support of a mentoring Head of Finance, you will be have constant opportunities to learn and further your career, with the opportunity to eventually move and progress across the team, varying from transactional finance management, management/financial accountants, commercial finance, etc.
What will you be doing?
- Reconciling the sales ledger
- Conducting bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate accounts receivable transactions
- Supporting the accounts payable team
- Performing day-to-day financial transactions
- Chasing aged debts
- Assisting with month-end duties
- Identifying process improvements
- Partnering with site and operations managers
What would we love to see from you?
- Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, etc and/or 1+ year industry experience
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and food
- Ambitious and keen to progress within the finance function
- Determined to study for ACCA or CIMA and become fully qualified in the coming years
- Intermediate Excel skills

Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 + study support
