Group Finance Assistant
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Location: London Bridge
Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

An exciting job opportunity has arisen in a prominent company based in the London Bridge area, the company is seeking a Group Finance Assistant, a new role designed to support the development of their expanding group functions. As a Group Finance Assistant, you will be working closely with the Group Reporting Manager.
Key duties of the role:
- Support the Reporting Manager in preparing monthly and year-end consolidation packs to the ultimate parent company
- Monitor that all local tax-related requirements are accurately fulfilled
- Assist in external audits and liaison with territory Heads of Finance
- Undertake management accounting for the group holding companies
- Monitor policy reviews and updates, and implement agreed changes
- Process the addition of new vendors and customers to Business Central
- Maintain the vendor and customer data in the Business Central Masterfile
- Monitor and maintain an international construction projects cashflow and spend tracker
- Carry out group invoice processing on Business Central
- Review and consolidate regional monthly funding requests for Reporting Manager's review
- Prepare loan reconciliations and execute intercompany funding transfers
- Maintain and update the group lease register
- Collate information for insurance renewals and updates
Essential Experience/Qualifications:
- Part accounting qualified/relevant accounting experience
- Enthusiasm, agility, and the ability to adapt to developing business needs
- Collaborative nature, as the role involves working closely with various business sectors
- An inquisitive mind, as the role involves improving financial controls
- A desire to learn and continuously develop professional skills
- Effective organization skills and adeptness in managing various tasks and activities
- Proficient spreadsheet skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Jet reporting (advantageous).
