Arthur's client provides a number of solutions to Lloyd's syndicates & Capital Providers. The business is looking for a strong Group Finance Manager as maternity cover.Overview
  • Responsible for monthly close process for all UK entities in the Lloyd’s business
  • Responsible for quarterly group reporting pack for Lloyd’s business including UK consolidation
  • Responsible for non-technical journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for statutory reporting and tax (CT/VAT) for all non-underwriting entities in Lloyd’s business
  • Support development of Finance function
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monthly close process for all UK entities in the Lloyd’s business
  • Responsible for quarterly group reporting pack including UK consolidation
  • Responsible for non-technical journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Develop strong and in-depth understanding of data flows which support the population of the GL and overall financial reporting
  • Maintain adequate procedures and controls
  • Contribute to improving overall quality and speed of reporting with efficient use of systems and tools
  • Responsible for production of annual accounts for all non-underwriting companies
  • Responsible for preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other tax returns for non-underwriting companies
Experience required:
  • Extensive experience of financial close process and consolidation
  • Experience of Investment accounting
  • Experience of group reporting
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
