The primary focus of the new Group Finance Manager will be to deliver strong, fast and accurate reporting across the group. Additionally, we are looking for someone to build and develop an effective control environment and provide strategic insight and advice to the management team.  To be successful in this role you will need to be proactive and output focussed, with an ambition to want to progress, learn and further develop your skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment – prior experience in a PE backed business would be advantageous but not essential. Key Responsibilities
  • Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts
  • Close down of years trading, balancing of ledgers, and production of annual Statutory Accounts with Auditors
  • Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
  • Leading the preparation VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax account reconciliations
  • Understanding and supporting the business on profitable business growth, highlighting opportunities and risks
  • Development and strengthening of internal controls
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models/policies
  • Management of a small team providing guidance and support
