Your new roleLead the process for the production and approval of all consolidated internal and external reporting and statutory accounts.Lead the VAT and Corporation tax accounting and reporting process and the relationship with external tax advisors (VAT and corporation tax)Manage the treasury function and oversee all investment fund management and balance sheet reconciliation.Develop and maintain financial policies, controls, systems, and processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the group's finances and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.Managing 2 staff direct and 1 indirectly What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant with experience in the following areas:

  • Experience of producing or auditing group financial statements.
  • Happy to consider applications from candidates coming straight from practice with experience of auditing charities.
  • We will also consider experienced technical accountants who have worked in similar previous roles.
  • Reporting and consolidation responsibility for a group.
  • Staff management.
  • Experience at, or as auditor of, a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Staff management in a multi-site and/or hybrid working environment.
