Partner Financial are working with a leading brand looking for a Group FP&A Analyst.. The business has grown significantly over the years and has developed a global footprint in the market due to their customer focus and strong product offering. The organisation has a clear strategic agenda to achieve market excellence and will be delivering against these plans by further investing in new capabilities and improving customer experience.

This is a newly created role due to significant growth and a record performance, joining the business at pivotal time as they embark on creating a Finance Centre of Excellence. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for consolidating the financial performance across the Group and leading process improvements through analysis and leveraging new technology to enhance ways of working.

The role:

  • Partnering with the Operating Companies as the main point of contact at a Group level, interfacing with Senior stakeholders to answer any queries and collate the insights to drive the commercial decision-making process
  • Collaborating with the Group Investor relations and Strategy teams to ensure synergy and identify areas for opportunities versus key competitors
  • Leading the enhancement of the FP&A consolidation process across the Operating Companies and reporting methods, implementing new methodologies and ways of working to create a best-in-class function
  • Gathering and consolidating the Group’s monthly financial planning and analysis results, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Providing the Board and Management Committee with insightful reports and key analysis of the Group’s performance.
  • Working alongside the Group FP&A Manager reviewing financial performance across operating companies, extracting key insights, and recommending areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
  • Previous experience working within a Group FP&A team is preferable
  • A natural team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and co-operation
  • An inquisitive mind-set that continuously challenges and seeks process improvement
