Partner Financial are currently working with a successful cosmetics and wellness company to search for a Group FP&A lead. This newly established position will play a key role in supporting the senior leadership team by collecting and analysing financial data, developing financial models and producing insightful reports.

The role is also essential in aligning financial planning with business goals, offering actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and address performance gaps. The company is looking to enhance its analytical capabilities so that complex financial information can be interpreted to enable data-driven decision-making. While there is a set of existing reports, there is significant potential to leverage the data more effectively and this role will help in maximising this potential.

The key responsibilities will be:

  • Gather, structure and evaluate financial information from multiple sources to aid in informed decision-making.
  • Perform comprehensive financial assessments to identify patterns, discrepancies and key factors influencing financial outcomes.
  • Design and sustain financial models that project possible results based on different scenarios and assumptions.
  • Create reliable projections by examining past data, industry trends and current financial situations.
  • Generate and deliver thorough financial reports to top executives, focusing on key performance indicators and financial metrics.
  • Spot areas for improvement in reporting processes and assist with the development and automation of reporting tools to support better decision-making.
  • Partner in crafting strategies aimed at enhancing profit margins and overall profitability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Advanced financial data interpretation with sophisticated analytical capabilities.
  • Comprehensive proficiency in financial modelling and predictive forecasting methodologies.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex financial insights into clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborative skills with demonstrated capability to engage effectively across diverse functional teams.
  • Talent for building strategic professional relationships.
  • Deep commercial acumen enabling nuanced interpretation of financial data's strategic implications.
  • Intellectual curiosity driving continuous analytical improvement.
