Description

The key duties of the Group FP&A Manager are as follows:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities
  • Develop strategic financial plans
  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Work with the Accounting & Finance team to review financial information and forecasts
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial reports
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting efforts
  • Provide high quality strategic financial information with reliable forecasts
  • Conduct short, medium and long term planning for the school with detailed scenario analysis and financial modelling
  • Develop and present timely based management information and report to senior management team
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and reports
  • Prepare interim and annual financial data for budgeting with detailed forecast of financial position and regular engagement and meetings with budget holders

Profile

A successful Group FP&A Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
