Group Reporting Manager | £70,000-£80,000 plus benefits | Permanent role | Central London (hybrid role) | Luxury Retail

A Group Finance Manager (Accounting & Controls) is required to work for a luxury consumer business on a permanent basis in Central London (hybrid working). This is a newly created role, working for a well-known brand, you will be joining at a key time as they look to innovate and grow their key channels (wholesale, e-commerce, and retail).

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the reporting and controls for the group. The role will work with stakeholders across the group and be responsible for driving enhanced financial controls to support the company’s growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the half year and annual audit process
  • Managing any technical accounting-related matters and documents, working specifically with IFRS15, IFRS 16 and IFRS9
  • Develop and implement enhanced financial controls across the group
  • Management of the group cashflow and balance sheet
  • Producing management reports including intercompany reports and KPI reports
  • Management of FX rates

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be practice-trained (top 20) with at least 2 years post-qualified experience. Ideally, you will have worked in industry after qualifying but candidates at Manager level in practice will be considered. You must be strong technically with experience of IFRS15 previously as well as previous consolidation and cashflow experience. Experience working for a consumer or stock-related business is preferred but not essential. A growth mindset is the key to success in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and driving change in what is an innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
