Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + generous discretionary bonus & benefits

Location: central London - hybrid - 2/3 days WFH per week

Our client, a privately owned, multinational shipping group headquartered in London with operations across Europe and Asia, are seeking a Big 4/Top10 audit trained Group Reporting Manager to join their London finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Timely preparation of the group consolidation, quarterly management report and executive summary to top management
  • Preparation of insightful and commercially minded analysis both at subsidiary and group level
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Responsibility for timely accounting for portfolio of subsidiary companies
  • Responsibility for timely reporting of covenants
  • Responsibility for input to daily cash management
  • Liaison with external auditors and preparation of audit support schedules and working papers.
  • Accounting input in relation to non-routine transactions, including the preparation of accounting memos
  • Other project accounting work, including services provided to affiliates
  • Input into annual budgeting and cash forecasting process
  • Identification and implementation of systems and process improvements

Requirements:

  • ACA/ICAS/CPA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Current or prior Big 4/Top 15 audit experience is essential
  • Experience of working with real estate and maritime clients is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of reporting under UK GAAP/IFRS
  • Robust knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance and focus on financial control and stewardship
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and effective time management
