A large global property business is looking to recruit an ACA qualifed (or equivalent) candidate to join its finance function.
Working closely with the Finance Director and managing a team of 3, main duties include:
- Take ownership in leading the year-end process and ensure that they are delivered on-time and efficiently, implementing improvements to systems and processes
- Lead and manage the Group accounting team, in delivering year end
- Preparation of complex consolidations and associated group accounts
- Preparation of complex statutory accounts for number of entities within the groups
- Main liaison with external auditors providing support and resolving queries
- Working with the Head of transactional finance and FD to embed new systems and processes
- Improve month-end procedures and assisting in implementing and development of management accounting process
- Establish a regular process for reconciliation of intercompany accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaison with tax advisors and leading in provision of accounting information for annual tax compliance
- Review of tax computations for audit purposes
- Assisting overseas offices, subsidiaries on accounting matters
You will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in delivering consolidations and year ends. Previous team management experience would be desirable.
