What you'll do:
As a Group Tax Manager, you will primarily cover EMEA and APAC regions along with some UK entities in respect of all group compliance and reporting obligations. You will be responsible for managing the outsourced corporation tax returns submission process while also liaising with various stakeholders including HMRC, external auditors, advisors, CFO's, and management teams both in the UK and overseas. Your role will also involve monitoring Effective Tax Rates and reporting to the US Tax team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assess tax impacts of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and compliance for a highly complex group.
- Manage compliance and reporting obligations for EMEA, APAC, and some UK entities.
- Oversee the outsourced corporation tax returns submission process for EMEA, APAC, and UK.
- Liaise with HMRC, external auditors, advisors, CFO's, and management teams both in the UK and overseas.
- Monitor Effective Tax Rates and report to the US Tax team.
- Manage shared services centre resource based in India.
- Assess tax impacts of reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and compliance for a highly complex group.
What you bring:
As a Group Tax Manager, your excellent communication skills will be crucial in liaising with various stakeholders. Your proven problem-solving abilities will enable you to translate complex business requirements into tangible solutions. With your experience in tax reporting and ability to work around problems quickly using advanced Excel skills, you will thrive in this role. Being ACA, ACCA, CTA or ATT qualified is essential for this position. Experience in financial services such as banking or private equity would be advantageous.
